MERCO repairs and services a large variety of medical and laboratory equipment. Our biomedical technicians are experienced and factory trained. We provide quick repair turnaround time and warranty our workmanship.
MERCO provides calibrations to meet the required standards of inspecting agencies such as OSHA and JC. Some of our calibration specialties are: AUDIOMETERS, BALANCES, and BLOOD PRESSURE UNITS.
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND CONTRACTS
MERCO develops, implements, and manages scheduled preventative maintenance programs to provide customers with labeled equipment and paperwork for inspecting agencies such and JC and OSHA. MERCO supports our PM program and electrical safety inspections by using the manufacturer guidelines, AAMI, and NFPA-99 guidelines. We pride ourselves in the thoroughness of our inspections and can customize any program to meet the needs of our customers.
MERCO can certify a wide variety of equipment. Some medical and laboratory equipment require specialized certifications. Among the equipment we certify are Temperature devices such as Chart recorders, Refrigerators, Freezers, and Thermometers. We can also certify Veterinary anesthesia Units.
AUTOCLAVE CLEANING MAINTENANCE
MERCO provides a very specialized and unique service in maintaining the cleanliness of your autoclave. A regularly cleaned autoclave prevents potential service repair calls and the dulling of your surgical instruments. A complementary spore test is performed to ensure the sterility of your equipment.
SURGICAL INSTRUMENT SHARPENING
MERCO provides a quick turn-around time with surgical instrument sharpening. Along with sharpening to like-new condition, we clean and remove deposits as well. We also repair surgical instruments and sell quality surgical instruments.
OSHA recommends performing spore tests in your autoclave to ensure the sterility of your machine. MERCO offers a direct mail spore test program for which we are able to provide results to you within 48 hours. These results are authorized by our Medical Technologist who is ASCP certified.
MERCO carries loaner equipment in the event your business needs such equipment while your own equipment is in our facilities for repair. If you need to expand your service capacity, we offer various biomedical equipment for rent. Some of the loaner equipment we have on hand are:

MERCO can install, setup, and test run a variety equipment such as stills, freezers, lab washers, bulk autoclaves, physical therapy equipment, and others. And while we are there, we can also remove and dispose your old equipment!
